Developmental Contributions to Learning

Your child will receive individualized services based on careful assessment and monitoring of skill development. The sequential development of skills in reading, math, and writing will be assessed. Any ‘holes’ in these skills will be prioritized.

The developmental perspective is integral to helping your child achieve academically.

Children need strong foundational skills upon which to build.

Foundational skills are vital for children when it comes to executive functioning. These develop from an early age, and are promoted through adult interactions, problem solving, and play. An environment rich in direct experiences, rather than electronic experiences, will ensure that your child is ready for academic learning.
